After one full year, I’m getting ready to leave New York in two little weeks. I’ll be heading home once again, this time for an extended period, to focus on some personal projects. Photos from my last days can be found here (and more are coming).
A lot of people say it’s easy to get into New York, but hard to get out, and I fully agree. It’s been an amazing, inspiring year but I need an open space and nature every now and then. Get in touch if you’d like to meet up when I’m in the Netherlands.
Most of my work at B-Reel revolves around Google Maps. They developed the technology of the streetview camera to be strapped onto a backpack, This became the Trekker. Together with this online platform, showcasing the beautiful environments from all around the world, Google makes Streetview a whole lot more interesting!
This was a quick experimentation of a GPS track visualisation done in Processing. The data is pulled from the Moves App, which was running in the background on my iPhone from the 7th of July until 23 November 2013. Much thanks to Nicholas Felton
